Architecture

Mikki, born and raised in San Francisco, developed a love for the city and its architecture from an early age. She graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 2020, earning her Bachelor of Architecture along with minors in Architectural Engineering and Spanish.  Currently, Mikki is pursuing her interest in affordable housing, particularly through projects centered on affordable senior housing and supportive housing in Oakland. Her commitment to sustainability is evident in her work, as she consistently explores avenues to integrate sustainable practices into Studio VARA projects.  Continuing her education, Mikki obtained her Living Future Accreditation and recently acquired her architecture license from the state of California.

In her free time, she enjoys playing soccer and softball, as well as indulging in a good book.
