After 20 years in NYC, she is happy to be back in the Bay Area, closer to relatives and west coast friends, where the weather and produce is great year-round. On the weekend you might find her at a used book store, out jogging, hiking or getting re-acquainted with quad roller-skating, while figuring out her next meal.
Bay Area native Shirley spent countless hours in the Wurster Hall studios, shop and photo lab while earning her BA in Architecture at UC Berkeley, and later moved to NYC to claim a shelf in Avery Library at Columbia University, where she earned her Master of Architecture. She has worked on a wide variety of project types over her 20+ year career but has focused on single- and multi-family residential. A LEED accredited professional, she holds a license in California.
