Jessica began her career in architecture before transitioning into interior design, which gives her a unique ability to integrate furnishings and finishes into the overall design of Studio VARA’s architectural projects. Her work strives to create a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere in the home. Jessica’s favorite part of the design process is the initial design proposal and selection of finishes and fixtures. She also excels at efficient planning and prioritizing competing demands, all skills that are used during installation days, where she loves seeing the final design come together.
A native of Massachusetts, Jessica lived and worked in Boston after attending Northeastern University. While there, she worked at Youth Build Boston, an afterschool program that taught high school students about architecture and design. Jessica’s favorite activities include sitting in the sun with a book, rock climbing, yoga and hunting for the next design piece to add to her apartment.
